It was supposed to be sunny when we planned this styled shoot. 

Carl Russell & Co gunmakers is also based at the Stable Yard at Hatfield House and it seemed like a perfect opportunity to exploit the 'shotgun wedding' theme.

Bringing in the talented KRJ Photography and borrowing some willing models, we braved the elements to create this.

The gorgeous Jess Hearn wore Terry Fox, Maria Senvo and Belle & Bunty for the shoot, whilst her handsome groom Billy wore the latest Top Man tuxedo with Converse.

It seems like an age ago when the lovely Louise and her trusted colleague Maxeen came to visit me at the boutique. They wanted to feature Heritage Brides on the B.Loved blog - to say I was chuffed was an understatement. 
It was a fantastic experience. Louise and I chatted away whilst Maxeen caught some of the finer features of the shop on camera.

Anyone who wants to try on our gowns will need to make an appointment. That’s because we want to provide one to one attention. The bride will get the entire boutique to herself and her party for 90 minutes during which time, we can advise on what gowns might be suitable. Of course some brides know exactly what they want and that’s fine too!

Every time a little girl walks into the boutique, the reaction is the same. Their eyes widen and they start to fiddle with their skirts. They home in on the biggest, princess dresses and they whisper to their parents about how pretty everything is.
In short walking into Heritage Brides is not just a magical experience for the girls looking to find their dream dresses, it's also an experience for the mini brides who I suspect will remember their visit for many years to come.
So that's why the little ones can now have something to ooh and aah after. New in this week are the most adorable tulle Tutus. Designed for ages from 1 up to about 9 years, these silly frilly froth creations are things which dreams are made of.
